Business Development Manager
Saudi Indian Company for Cooperative Insurance
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead General Insurance Sales in our company.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of brokers and agents and will develop new business across all lines, establishing & maintaining strong relationships with brokers/agents and other distribution channels. He will attain pre-assigned budgets/targets while constantly seeking-out opportunities for new business and will be identifying new distribution channels. Being responsible for all of General Insurance Business Development in the company he will be required to proactively provide market feedback, showing exceptional leadership and motivational skills to drive the brokers & agents forward in order to achieve specific business objectives and targets.
Skills
The ideal candidate will be pro-active, well organized, have a minimum of 7 years experience in general insurance and sound subject knowledge of all lines of general insurance business accompanied with excellent communication, presentation & negotiation skills. He should be assertive and able to manage relationships and perform under pressure. He will be an effective team player, able to work with a dynamic and diverse team and have the ability to forge relationships quickly. A good working knowledge of MS Office (word/excel/power point) is also required.
