Compensation and Management Services Officer
UNRWA - Headquarters, Amman
The Compensation and Management Services Officer will be responsible for conducting salary and benefits surveys, collecting and analysing data and formulating recommendations within the established pay policy, recommending salary scales and allowances and conducting periodic reviews. He/she will also be responsible for classification studies and reviews of Area and International posts and analysing requests for staffing table changes and post descriptions.
The ideal candidate will have a university degree in public or business administration, human resources management, industrial engineering with a major in industrial psychology or related field. He/she will also possess 6 years of experience in human resources, particularly in the areas of classification, staffing control, organization and compensation.

The selected candidate will have the ability to actively follow up on relevant issues, exercise sound judgement and search and present information and data in a clear and instructive manner. He/she will possess strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills. The incumbent will also be asked to take initiative, work independently, provide constructive coaching to others, maintain effective working relationships, and work under pressure.
