GE Energy's Contractual Services business is a global team of men and women dedicated to optimizing the performance of our customers' power plants and equipment. A Contractual Service Agreement, or CSA, provides maintenance, parts, services, and repairs over a specified period of time. GE Contract Performance Managers (CPMs) and Assistant CPMs have an opportunity to develop both technically and commercially while fulfilling critical responsibilities for GE's customers. Such positions allow for growth on many fronts, inclusive of building a strong network both inside and outside of GE. The breadth of knowledge gained by successful CPMs and Assistant CPMs can position them for strong career growth within GE Energy.
Role Summary/Purpose
The Assistant Contract Performance Manager (CPM) will be required to work with the Lead CPM to manage a long-term service agreement. CPMs are co-located with their respective customer and are responsible for delivering high quality customer solutions including new products, outage planning, parts & repair delivery via project management tools. This role will be measured on its customer relationship and the ability to produce financial and operating results for the Contractual Services business.
Essential Responsibilities
The role includes ownership of the customer relationship & ability to meet GE objectives. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Execute customer contract obligations including delivery of parts, outage services & repairs
- Order / track / validate billing for major/minor maintenance parts and services requested by the customer
- Cost or financial data collection and reconciliation
- Provide information and drive sales regarding the latest advancements in conversion, modification, & upgrade opportunities to owner
- Maintain unit operating history & parts life history on commercially available software
- Maintain record of parts (by model & serial number) currently installed in each unit
- Develop sales plan for each Customer
- Support customer in forced, unplanned and planned unit outages
- Build strong partnerships within the value chain organization which will be extremely important to deliver high quality services
- Develop and maintain an understanding of power plant or machine driven industries
- High oral and written proficiency in both English and Arabic
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years power generation experience and/or industry related experience)- Turbine technology experience (minimum of 2 years)- Demonstrated management experience (minimum of 2 years)- Job is based near Al Hasa City in Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia
