Senior Internal Auditor - (Retail & Foodstuff)

Duties and Responsibilities:

1-Assessing risks by reviewing all business units and activities together with Group Internal Auditor
2-Developing an audit plan, budget and audit methodology together with Group Internal Auditor
3-Conducting Financial, compliance and operational audits
4-Document audit evidence, prepare and file adequate work paper with indexing and referencing procedures
5-Communicating results along with recommendations to concerned management
6-Conducting investigations if and when the need arises
7-Recommending control procedures and systems wherever there are opportunities
Areas to include: Retail Stores, Finance, HR policies, IT systems, Operations and Wholesale, Logistics, Purchasing, Franchise business (overseas), overseas audit, Production and other company policies

Skills

The candidate must have good oral and written English communication skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office and he/she should understand and interpret well the company Code of Ethics, be of good moral character and integrity.

The candidate must:
-Possess sound organizing and analytical skills
-Have ability to adapt and work in a multi-national environment
-Be willing to work occasionally over extended hours on weekends
-Be independent and work with minimum supervision
-Professional certificates like CIA or CPA are not required but the candidate must show willingness to pursue a designation to continue his/her career

• It is preferred that applying candidates have valid Kuwaiti driving license (knowledge of Arabic language is preferred)

Education

Bachelor of Business Administration, Commerce (with concentration in Accounting, Finance or Auditing
