STORE MANAGER
Proof Woody FZ LLC
Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Proof Woody outlet at the DIFC. The main focus of the Store Manager's job is to improve the commercial performance of the outlet by increasing turnover and maximizing profitability. Achieving performance objectives will require action in all of the main areas of retail activity: store operations; human resources; marketing; image; customer care; adding clients for the company's offcie services and staff and delivery logistics.
» Typical work activities
• managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency; e.g through setting incentives and penalties.
• managing a team to control stock levels and making key decisions about stock control;
• analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits;
• analyzing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning;
• dealing with staffing issues: interviewing potential staff; conducting appraisals and performance reviews; and providing or organizing training and development;
• ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met;
• manage a system to respond to customer complaints and comments;
• organizing special promotions and displays;
• Identifying / resolving urgent issues and refer those to company management;
• maintaining awareness of market trends, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives, and monitoring what local competitors are doing;
• liaising with administration department
