Instrumentation & Control Engineer
Emco Engineering

EMCO is currently seeking an Instrumentation and Control Engineer to be based in Beirut, Lebanon

The Instrumentation and Control Engineer will be responsible for:

• Designing DCS, PLC/SCADA, I/O lists
• DCS, PLC programming and SCADA system development
• Performing instrumentation and control cables voltage drop calculations
• Preparing datasheets for approval
• Conducting Instrumentation selection
• Designing loop diagrams
• Developing Instrumentation index
• Developing cable rooting, logic diagrams, panel design
• Reviewing supplier details
• Commenting and issueing submittals for consultant approval
• Developing instrumentation plot plan and connection details
• Performing Instruments calibration

Skills

• B.Sc. Degree in Electronics/Instrumentation and/or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years experience working with control and automation systems, preferably in the Water and Wastewater Treatment field.
• Experience in Distributed Control Systems (ABB ) and Programmable Logic Controllers for automation control and instrumentation systems.
• Analytical, troubleshooting and computer skills
• Demonstrated communication ability
