R&D & Quality Manager

Over the years, since their establishment in 1976, our client has developed from a small flour mill into a technologically advanced, world-scale, multi-product, manufacturing enterprise with a turnover of a billion US dollars and plants operating in six countries, including the UAE. Their products include, but are not limited to; flour, edible oils, pasta, noodles, poultry, animal feed and eggs.

They are now looking to recruit a Research & Development and Quality Manager.

Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
Manage the R&D Laboratory including 5-6 Lab Technicians and the Quality team of 2 Quality Coordinators;
Involvement with new product development including testing products, packaging and ingredients;
Lead and conduct all quality cost-effective consumer/product tests.

Skills

The ideal candidate will come from a pasta, noodle or flour production background, be degree educated in a technology or science related subject, and have extensive knowledge of HACCP, ISO9001 and ISO14001 certification. You must be a strong character able to deal with Senior members of staff and customers alike.
