Visual Merchandiser

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for conceptualizing, designing and creating plans and drawings necessary to develop the store and in-store displays to provide the customer with the best shopping experience.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Providing the best concepts and ideas with high creativity in combining product, quality, environment, and space into stimulating and engaging in-store displays, in order to increase customer traffic in the store and guide customers through eye-catching layouts to result in an eventual sale of a product.
2. Manage and control all resources, activities and preparations needed to adjust any displays beginning from presenting ideas up to developing plans and schematic drawings.
3. Coordinate with different Category Managers and Store Managers in order to discuss the process of developing the methods of display, and make sure that the requirements are fully identified.
4. Manage in-store visual merchandising plans, including the creation of Planograms and creating Planogram product placement decisions based on current marketing strategy as well as sales analysis.
5. Supervise the process of implementing and executing the designs on floor and ensure that they conform to specifications.
6. Actively problem-solve and bring new ideas in planning meetings.

More than 5 years of experience in a similar position

1. High level of creativity with an ability for artistic expression
2. Planning and designing skills with technical expertise
3. Thorough knowledge on market and products
4. Good analytical, organizational and communication skills
5. Advanced computer skills (such as AutoCAD)
6. Fluent in English and Arabic

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferably in Architectural Engineering or Interior Design
