Vice president - Corporate Communication - Abu Dhabi

The Job:

To manage and promote the company’s reputation in the region through the media, opinion formers and the public in general so as to project an image of strength and responsibility, by which the company can successfully pursue its interests.
This will involve in particular:

• Working closely with the business heads including the CEO, regional managers to develop and implement the company’s overall communications strategy both regionally and internationally.
• Ensuring that all communications objectives are translated into achievable deliverables.
• Developing all policies and procedures for the Communications functions, ensuring full alignment with the dynamic requirements of the company
• Planning and coordinating conferences and special events.

Skills

Solid experiences in a corporate communication position; prior related experience in a professional environment desirable

*Solid understanding of brand architecture particularly for groups with multidisciplinary activities
*Solid crisis management and media relations experience;

*A creative, strategic thinker but pragmatic and hands-on in execution; Strong planning and priority setting skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;

*Effective interpersonal / communications skills

*Comfortable around both foreign and local senior management; bi-cultural

*Proven experiences in managing agencies and project teams; Ability to identify and organize resources
