Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

- Liaise and attend regular site meetings with the client and the main contractor to maintain a healthy relationship throughout the contract’s lifetime.
- Monitor the progress of all the works conducted in order to ensure that any possible delays or issues are dealt with in a timely manner and at minimum cost to the company.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of all project engineers in order to avoid any delays or undue costs.
- Plan the project’s requirements for materials, equipment, machinery, labor, and etc. so that they are met within budget and in a timely manner in order to avoid any undue delays and costs to the project.
- Manage all aspects of labor requirements for the project including the initial labor forecast as well as weekly labor reports.
- Coordinate with Senior Management should any issues or problems arise on site.
- Coordinate with the project’s Quantity Surveyor to maximize the project’s final account on behalf of the company.
- Ensure that all the work conducted on the project is on-time and with minimal delays causing liability to the company.
- Require subordinates to adhere to company safety and quality standards as per published policies and procedures.
- Evaluate the project schedules and plans to ensure that they fulfill the contractual requirements with the client.
- Plan and coordinate to ensure that the project material requirements are delivered to the site in a timely and safe manner.
- Invoice the project client and/or the main contractor on a monthly basis.

Skills

- Minimum 5 years experience in the Electro-Mechanical field.
- Knowledge of Electro-Mechanical theory, design parameters and applicable codes and regulations.
- Knowledge of Project Management techniques and essentials.
- Ability to work independently on major engineering projects.
- Ability to direct, evaluate and elicit the cooperation of others.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with other departments and outside agents and to understand and verbalize contract issues both in writing and orally.
- Ability to handle and deal effectively with conflict situations on site.
- Ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job function.
- Gulf experienced is a must.
- Lebanese Nationality preferred.

Education

Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from reputable University
