Job Purpose
The following key responsibilities are intended to provide the candidate with guidelines on his/her expected role, standards of performance and to ensure a degree of relativity and business substance to his/her position. As a general rule, a Manager is required to devote his/ her best skills and utmost attention to diligently employ himself/herself in the business of the Firm.
General Roles & Responsibilities:
Coaches the team in the field on engagements in the context of a client and ensures that the work plan is properly executed by the team, documented and concluded in compliance with organization and service line policies and protocols.Contributes to the presentation of our work and its findings to the client.
Coordinates all engagement activities, serving as link between engagement team, engagement partner, and to some extent, client personnel.
Responsible for managing and leading large-scale, multiple engagements to deliver innovative and insightful deliverables. Responsible for managing and developing client service team members and for identifying and setting opportunities for the organization generally across their client base.
Focused Roles & Responsibilities:
Financial Growth
Contributes to the profitable growth by ensuring clients engagements are executed in an efficient manner.
Identifies and follows up on opportunities to provide new services.
Manages the engagement planning process and integrates partner feedback into the plan.
Looks for new opportunities by forecasting client needs.
Manages engagement profitability and is accountable for the economics of the engagement.
Focuses on developing targeted accounts and key potential clients
Maximizes revenue from existing clients and explore opportunities in the market.
Develops and implements marketing strategy for sub-service line.
Participates in targeted clients' team meetings with other service lines.
Ensures effective time utilization of EY team.
Keeps eyes on the market and monitors developments by competitors.
Quality Service / Client Care
Provides and demonstrates value to clients, and commits to meeting clients expectations.
Understands Clients' problems or needs through analyzing their RFP (Request for Proposal) document.
Monitors the design of an effective proposal for the client based on his needs.
Go to the client field and tries to understand the client environment through holding several meetings with the key employees at the client's side, and conducting some readings and analysis to the system documentation.
Monitors and leads the team in the development of project templates and reports documents to be used in the projects.
Demonstrates business judgment in advising clients.
Develops focus for self and the EY team on products and industry.
Develops and/or maintains relationships with existing and potential clients
Ensures of the technical quality of all client deliverables.
Conducting intensive sessions with team members to handle execution phases effectively and properly.
Presenting the final outcomes of the project through professional presentations to client.

Leads engagement teams and accounts
Communicates expectations to the team
Actively develops our professionals by providing day-to-day guidance, feedback and on-the-job coaching
Lives the Firm's values
Mentors new staff in the team, ensuring a structured career path for each with a clearly defined, corresponding training program.
Plans and manages staff to ensure that past experience (both positive and negative) is shared and lessons are learnt by all going forward.
Participates in recruitment and develop and train staff to be flexible, team players, creative and pro-active.
Provides learning and growth opportunities to staff and encourage the potential within all staff to take on challenging opportunities.
Good interpersonal skills and the willingness to accept challenges and responsibility.
Skills
Technical Competencies
6-8 years of experience in two or more of the following areas:
Transaction Support.
Transaction Tax.
Valuation and Business Modelling.
Transaction Integration.
Project Finance.
Real Estate.
Restructuring.
Mergers & Acquisitions Advisory.
Requirements
A relevant first level university degree.
Excellent command over English is a must. Command over Arabic is highly preferred.
A professional qualification degree, preferably CFA, CMA, CIMA, CFM, CPA, CA, ACCA, CVA, AVA or MBA.
Excellent Analytical and Problem solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Previous experience in working with multicultural teams.
Previous experience in the consulting arena and in one or more of the above technical competencies.
Experience with one of the big 4 would be a plus.
