Sales Engineer - Building Materials (Saudi National)

At DuPont we call our building materials portfolio - Building Innovations. This is an area where our building science plays a large role in making homes and buildings safer, sounder, look newer longer and provide greater environmental sustainability.

We seek to recruit a Sales Engineer who will be based in Jeddah who will be accountable for promoting our building innovations products to the professional market in the Western region. The two key product lines this position will focus on is surfaces/countertop materials and geotextiles.

The position will be primarily responsible for conducting regular sales/marketing visits to the professional sector (architects, construction companies, developers) to present and educate our target market on our innovative offerings. You will be responsible for specifying our products with the appropriate bodies/clients and ensuring the usage of these products during the execution stage and also identifying direct sales opportunities.

Skills

For this role we seek the following:

- Saudi National currently based in Jeddah or the Western Province or prepared to relocate there
- Engineering graduate preferably in Civil or Construction or Architectural
- 2+ years experience preferably in sales & marketing
- Candidates with an understanding of the qualification / specification process in the construction, architecture and design industries and have a track record in managing customer relationships.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.

We can also consider fresh graduate applicants for this position provided their communication and language skills are strong and they are prepared train and develop into a sales role.

Education

Graduate in Civil or Architectural Engineering or relevant field
