Training Coordinator
Qatar Foundation

Job Purpose:

The incumbent in this position will be responsible for implementation and administration of operations in the area of in-house training.

Key Result Areas:

- Conducts training needs interviews with Department Managers and QF Directors.
- Initiates and coordinates contracts with training vendors to supply training solutions.
- Liaises with relevant stakeholders to deliver fully functional training facility.
- Manages Training needs database, for implementing effective in-house training logistics.
- Coordinates with stakeholders to deliver training solutions for group requests.
- Mentor ad train junior training coordinator.
- Will send training announcements, plans, schedules, invitations, and any other communication relating to training, obtain feed-back and give timely feed-back to the concerned manager/specialist.
- Will take necessary action with regard to booking of venues, organizing food/snacks, training material, training aids and etc.
- Take care of training administration including procurement (Initiation of MR's through ERP).
- Will coordinate conduct of all training related meetings, prepare minutes of meetings and put them on the QF shared folder.
- Will assist learning specialist in processing of invoices, settlement of training costs, etc.
- Update and follow up on HR training calendar for timely delivery.
- Payroll and logistics process related to oversees training programmes.
- Will carry out any other responsibility specifically entrusted by the Head of Training.
- Be the custodian of the learning@qf.org.qa email address and respond, reply and forward emails to the appropriate recipient for action in a timely manner.

Skills

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

- Bachelors Degree or equivalent with high computer awareness skills.
- Knowledge of local and Gulf training vendors/suppliers highly desirable.
- At least five years experience in similar role.
- Excellent communication, convincing and organizational skills are required.
- Event management experience beneficial.
- Excellent spoken and written English essential.
- Spoken and written Arabic beneficial.
