SALES MANAGER
Confidential Company

This position’s primary responsibility is to seek and explore the opportunities that could expand and grow our sales and operation locally and regionally,mainly in the prefab houses and the sandwich panels,as well as supervise and manage the sales activities of the Company, analyze and estimate price trends and product availability through close supervision of the market, competition and stock movement. Analyzes cost of products and establishes a competitive pricing scheme. He is also responsible for marketing and promotional functions of the Company.

Duties / Tasks:

Assists the General Manager in preparing the annual business plan and budgets.

Formulates sales goals, marketing plans and strategy and directs their execution to achieve the Company’s objectives.

Directs the development of special marketing and promotional plans pertinent to the Company’s products( Internal & External).

Participates in the market research efforts to analyze competitors’ strengths, pricing policies, new unit design potential, and Company’s share to different type of customers.

Organizes and directs the Company’s sales, distribution, customer service and related administrative specialists to achieve goals and objectives.

Organizes and directs the Company sales locations in the best way to maximize customer satisfaction and service.

Develops and implements effective advertising and sales promotion plans to help support the sales strategy and communicates the Company’s products and services to the customers.

Develops and implements optimum use of manpower, with respect to geographical distribution.

Operates the sales activities within the approved budget and cost controls.

Ensures compliance with sales policies, procedures and programs.

Develops and implements price schemes for all products and services based on market and competitors’ analysis, which should increase the sales and profitability of the Company.

Evaluates the performance of subordinates and seeks improvement in their capabilities.

Communicates market price changes to the Company Manager and assesses the effect on Company’s pricing scheme.

Develops and communicates timely, complete and accurate sales forecasts and other sales and marketing data that contributes to the effective deployment of sales resources to achieve sales and marketing objectives.

Maintains excellent relationships with major customers.

Reviews and controls distribution of product to the customers and ensures prompt delivery, appropriate pricing strategy and correct order processing.

Reviews and approves contracts with major customers.

Prepares and reviews the daily sales and collections reports.

Reviews with area sales representatives their sales plans and budgets and co-ordinates with them implementation of programs to meet the plans.

Reviews and analyzes the operating results of each location and recommends required action (promotions and marketing activities, expansion or cut-downs) as deemed necessary

Skills

Effective communication and personnel management skill

Proven achievement and sales track record

5 years of practical experience and supervisory capacities (preferably in building materials sector / industry)

Demonstrate tenacity and integrity, you have the ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member

Competence in management, networking, target marketing to specific prospects

Advanced selling skills with the ability to mentor a team to those same disciplines

Quota attainment

Education

Bachelor Degree in Sales, Marketing or equivalent
