Transaction Advisory Services Senior - Valuation - Financial Modeling

Ernst & Young's Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice offers companies professional transaction experience. We help clients determine the right deal to do, and then assist them in doing the deal right.
Within TAS, our Valuation group helps clients understand the value of their business, their securities, intellectual property, capital equipment, real estate, intangibles, and other assets. EY Valuation is comprised of several key areas, including Business Valuation and Capital Equipment. We currently have a career opportunity for a Staff professional in Financial Modeling to join our talented and team-oriented group.
Responsibilities
Serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams, performing financial modeling valuations for management planning; mergers and acquisitions; tax and financial reporting; and shareholder disputes. Identify issues and propose strategies related to the procedures executed. Actively contribute to report generation and detailed financial modeling. Maintain positive, productive, and professional relationships with client personnel and colleagues.
Demonstrate teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members; stay abreast of current business and economic developments relevant to the client's business; and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of services provided.
Skills
To qualify, candidates must have:
• A bachelor's or master's degree in business, finance, or accounting with demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in venture capital, investment banking, commercial banking, strategy, and financial research
• Strong financial modeling skills; the ability to create financial models based on clients strategic financial business plans
• Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and teaming skills
• Ability to work with project expenditures against budget and revenue
• Ability to help team members to ensure the completion of work deliverables
• PC proficiency including MS Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint
• Very Good excel Modelling Skills and Valuation skills
• PPA experience would be an added advantage
