Consultant- Assurance Related Support Services

Technology and Security Risk Services Staff
As a member of staff for TSRS, you'll technically contribute to TSRS client engagements and internal projects. An important part of your role will be actively establishing internal and external relationships. You'll identify and escalates potential business opportunities for Ernst & Young on existing engagements. Similarly, you'll anticipate and identify risks and raise any issues with senior members of the team. In line with our commitment to quality, you'll determine that work is of high quality and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer.
Client responsibilities
• Participate in TSRS engagements
• Work effectively as a team member sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress
• Participate and assist in preparing for meetings with target management teams
• Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
• Build strong internal relationships within Advisory and across other services
People responsibilities
• Contribute to people initiatives including recruiting and retaining TSRS professionals
• Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills
• Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures
Skills
Skills requirements
3 - 4 years experience in:
• IT Infrastructure Planning, Design, and Review
• ERP/Application Controls & Security
• IT Internal Audit
• Third Party Reporting and Assurance
• IT Effectiveness
• Technology Program Advisory Services
• Security Assessment
• Exposure to standards and guidelines, such as CobiT™, BS17799 (ISO/IEC 27001) and ITIL, as well as modes of implementation.
• Exposure to application control assessments for ERPs (Oracle, SAP, JDE).
• Exposure to business/IT strategy/BCP and DRP development
• Big 4 experience would be considered as an advantage.
• BA or BS in Accounting, computer science, MIS or Information Systems
• Relevant bachelors/masters' degree from a reputed institution/university.
• Excellent communication, report writing and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English. Additional knowledge of languages such as Arabic, French, Spanish, etc would be considered as an advantage.
• Demonstrate an aptitude for creatively solving problems and thinking outside the box.
• A mature and flexible personality with a track record of building, managing and working with teams.
• Experience in the Technology Division of a Big Four firm /IT Firm/MNC/Consulting firms
• Provide technical expertise to ensure the assigned engagements are conducted to an appropriate standard.
