Safety & Security Manager
Almajdouie

Principal Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

 Plan, initiate, and implement new policies and procedure in regard with NIOSH, OSHA, ISO14000, ISO18000 recommendations and certification.
 Have the ability to plan, initiate, and implement new policies and procedure in regard with Safety Management System for the whole Group.
 Carry out a Safety Audit and Fire Evacuation as well as initiate the implementation of risks assessments within all Operations and deliver a status report and recommendations for improvement.
 Implement and manage a Disaster Management and Emergency Plan, that tackle assigning emergency accountable for facilities' partitions, routing, signs, cautions, guiding maps…etc.
 Ensure division wide awareness of the health and safety policy by operating in systematic approach, implementing awareness sessions, soft copies of bulletin, flyers, leaflet…etc.
 Establish methods to ensure Safe plant and machinery, and safe movement, storage and use of articles and substances, including consistent and regular mechanical and electrical checks on our rides and attractions.
 Ensure that each operational unit has adequate provision of first-aid and welfare facilities where appropriate.
 Provide suitable and current information concerning health and safety policies and practices to the business leaders.
 Prepare and carry out regular training programs for staff and tenants on Fire and Evacuation and general Health and Safety
 Review tenants drawings to ensure compliance with facilities and statutory regulations for Fire Safety.
 Provide advice and assistance to the leisure and entertainment management teams on the management of Health and Safety
 Carry out proper and timely assessment of risks to health and safety, and implementation of measures and arrangements identified as necessary from the assessments.
 Review and update emergency procedures, evacuation plans, safety signs and incident reporting.
 Liaise as necessary with other departments, organizations and relevant authorities and provide assistance and cooperation concerning audits and remedial actions.
 Ensure each workplace satisfies the local and international standards for health, safety and welfare requirements for ventilation, temperature, lighting, sanitary, washing and rest facilities.
 Review prevention and precautions against, or adequate control of, exposure to hazardous substances, and danger from flammable, explosive, electrical, noise, radiation and manual handling risks.
 Surveillance and reporting on health and safety practices, systems and accident reporting.
 Provide all necessary assistance to the insurer and senior management for incident and accident investigations.
 Establish the groundwork for the implementation of a workable environmental policy.

Skills

Essential
 Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering / Safety.
 Ability to adapt and implement NIOSH, OSHA, ISO 14000, ISO 18000.
 Formal Health and Safety qualifications
 Strong communication skills
 Risk and Hazard Analysis
 Root cause analysis and investigation
 Training, Communication and Presentation
 Experience of more than 5 years in the same position or Safety Manager, or more than 7 years Experience as Quality Assurance Manager introduced one and get a new other international certificates for three years at least within his experience.
 English and Arabic speaking skills.

Desirable
 Working for international companies is advantage.
 Having PhD. Or Masters in Safety/ Industrial Engineering Management.
 Certified in OSHA, NIOSH, ISO Lead Auditor from Certified Bodies.
 Implementation of Kaiser Methodologies; especially 5s within Manufacturing Environment.
