Senior Manager ( Manufacturing and Sales & Marketing )

Role Purpose :

To formulate, gain agreement to and implement strategies, plans, policies and procedures to ensure the assigned operation ( including manaufacturing, sales & marketing operations ) has the necessary capability to realise its business objectives in the short, medium and longer term and that it achieves the financial stability necessary for its future growth and success .

Main Responsibilities :

To prepare the annual business plan and operating and capital expenditure budgets, ensuring that adequate funding provision is made for all activities and ensuring the achievement of approved targets and plans

To create and lead effective teams in the Production and Sales functions in order to drive the business in meeting its stretching revenue, profit and growth targets

To create and lead effective teams in all non-line functions in order to ensure that Production and Sales have the foundations and support necessary to achieve their stretching production, revenue, profit and growth targets

To ensure operation overall efficiency by reducing cost and efficient utilization of resources

Skills

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills :
- B.Sc. in engineering or Buisness Administration, or an MBA in a commercial discipline
- A minimum of 15 years corporate private sector experience in FMCG field, preferred in the Middle East, with at least 5 years at managerial level
- Leadership ability is essential along with well-developed analytical and organisational skills
- A strong commercial focus is also essential along with the ability to establish effective working relationships with the FMCG sector
- Excellent written and spoken English and the ability to communicate effectively
- Must be achievement oriented and focused on producing results.
- Strong customer focus, both internally and externally
- Must be committed to recognising and developing staff potential within the business unit to ensure high performance and growth
- Strong “Change Agent” commitment.
