LAILF/KT: Legal Accountant of International Law Firm, Kuwait

Our client, an international law firm with a joint venture partner in Kuwait, requires an Accountant to support the local office based in Kuwait City. Reporting to the Head of Finance in Dubai, the successful candidate will undertake a broad-ranging role including, but not limited to, purchase ledger, invoicing, billing, collections/credit control, banking, petty cash and monthly financial reporting. The role is available to start from 1 January and will include two weeks' training in Dubai.

Skills

• Degree in Accounting.
• Bi-lingual - English/Arabic.
• Experience of working in Kuwait.
• Excellent IT skills, Microsoft packages, ideally Elite.
• Ability to work on own initiative and part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and acute eye for detail.
• Ability to work flexibly and produce work within required deadlines.
• Similar experience of working in a law firm or any other professional services organization.
