Finance Director
Apple Search & Selection
Our client who is a global project management company is seeking a highly experienced finance director to join the business.
They have a number of projects in the Middle East and this position will be based in Libya where you will be responsible for providing a full range of management and financial accounting processes for the company to maximise growth and profitability in the region.
This role will also involve aspects of HR
As finance director you will be responsible for :-
• Financial planning and reporting for the region
• Leadership of the finance and HR team
• Commercial support to the business in respect of pricing, proposals and negotiations
• Maintaining and developing controls and governance procedures that comply with appropriate regulations
Financial Planning, Budgeting & Reporting
• Management of the production of all financial reporting, including annual budgets, monthly accounts, forecasts and ad hoc reporting
• Delivery of working capital reports for the region as a whole, and for departments / practices as appropriate
Commercial
• Provide direct day-to-day support to fee earning and Business Development staff in respect of pricing proposals, pitches and tenders for new work
Management
• Day-to-day management of the finance and HR team
• Prepare various financial statements, analysis, compliance testing
• Manage the firm's various audits
Person Summary
• You will be a qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent) and have had experience actively running a successful finance function
• Fluent in Arabic (Speaking, reading, writing)
• US Citizen
