Steel Fabricating Engineer ( Head of Department)

We are a leader in the steel fabricating industry, with 50 years experience in the market and an outstanding reputation in the Dubai. The company's projects are wide-ranging and include arenas & stadiums, airports & hangars, bridges, convention centers and healthcare facilities. The successful candidate must have a minimum of ten years experience in mechanical engineering, with demonstrate expertise in DESIGN.

The ideal candidate will also be with experience of connection design and a sound technical understanding of steel detailing or fabrication in a design environment.

You will have the ability to lead and develop a team of highly committed professionals and will not be afraid to challenge the status quo.

You will be pivotal in the delivery of both small and large construction projects and manage a team across our offices respectively.

Experience of high value/profile structural projects and an astute commercial awareness of the global construction sector will aid you in being successful in this position.

Candidates MUST have the ability to generate ideas and concepts involving specific work requirements from design to execution stage relating to steel works such as steel formworks, industrial steel buildings and marine installations with 5 to 10 years experience.


Candidates must also be able to generate business (sales and marketing) for new projects.

This role expects candidates to make their estimates also.

Candidate will be expected to possess excellent management skills and should be able to manage the day to day running of the workshop.

Candidates are also expected to build a close working relationship with staff ensuring that projects receive: materials, machinery and labour according to the schedules to ensure completion.
