Marketing - PR Coordinator
Dar Al-Shifa Hospital
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assist and advise the Marketing Manager regarding the public relations issues; assist Marketing Manager in planning and formulating policies, strategies, and response relative to The New Dar Al-Shifa's issues.
2. Provide public relations information to the key targeted local community customers; plan and direct the development and communication of information designed to keep public well-informed of The New Dar Al-Shifa's programs, accomplishments, or points of view.
3. Under guidance and supervision of the Marketing Manager, respond to requests for information from media, local community and the public; distribute promotional materials, including flyers, brochures, and press kits; disseminates information via the appropriate media.
4. Assist the Marketing Manager in circulating public relations materials including press releases, articles, speeches, on-line information services; contribute in developing the marketing and public relations materials for designated New Dar Al-Shifa's Departments.
5. Oversee and put remarks on the production of audio/video and/or printed promotional and public affairs materials
6. May assist the Marketing Co-ordinator in the process of following up the production of The New Dar Al-Shifa's publications.
7. May coordinate public outreach programs; develop and assist the Marketing Manager in compiling data for presentations.
8. Lead and guide the work of other customers care staff, as appropriate, .
9. May supervise, co-ordinate and make special public relations arrangements for The New Dar Al-Shifa's VIPs or normal visitors.
10. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Skills
Education Level : Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management
Experience : 1+ year experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Language / Literacy : High proficiency in Arabic and English Languages.
Skills:
1. Must possess excellent writing skilss especially Arabic, PR Skill well developed contact with different medias & related in Kuwait
2. Knowledge of public relations and general communications principles and practices.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
4. Ability to use independent judgment and to gather, manage and impart information to the media and various other internal and external audiences. .
5. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
6. Organizing and coordinating skills.
7. Knowledge of electronic communications applications, including the internet.
8. Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
9. Ability to distribute written materials.
10. Knowledge of video production and editing.
11. Knowledge of printing procedures and requirements.
12. Ability to provide support guidance and leadership to professional personnel in area of expertise.
