Recruitment Specialist

Role:
As a Recruitment Specialist, you shall supervise the Recruitment Coordinator and all recruitment related activities. You shall make sure that the Recruitment Department deals with all aspects of the recruitment process from initial interest in the role until employees undertake their induction courses. You shall ensure that the Recruitment data base is up to date and have ready at all times potential candidates for the volume recruitment by innovating and proactively managing the recruitment resources for this category and other categories.

Main Functions:
1- Maintains a recruitment action plan in coordination with HRM:
- Defines the best sourcing strategies and methods for all positions companywide with the recruitment Coordinator.
- Ensures the plan is maintained and constantly searches for new innovative sourcing methods.
- Ensures an active and organized data bank of applicants is maintained for various positions where applicable.
- Ensures at all times an active list of defined categories which turnover is high is maintained.
2- Manages, monitors and applies the recruitment process from inception to closing of the vacancy:
- Monitors the Recruitment Coordinator application of the recruitment process.
- Prepares the profile for the vacancy.
- Designs recruitment advertisements.
- Screens, interviews and shortlists applicants.
- Forwards short listed candidates to the concerned line managers for evaluation or interviews.
- Liaises with HRM for final decision.
- Contacts candidates or recruitment agencies for initiating process of recruitment .
- Conducts reference checks and raises necessary documentation needed for appropriate pre-recruitment approval from HRM.
- Obtains and assess all certificates and testimonials of the candidates
- Advise successful and unsuccessful applicants once selection has been made.
3- Prepares Manpower plan and recruitment reports:
- Prepares manpower plan.
- Ensures manpower plans are updated all the times.
- Prepares recruitment reports such as recruitment tracking tools and statistics.
4- Markets Spinneys as employer of choice:
- Identifies event and means to market Spinneys as employer of choice.
- Targets universities and institutions .
- Organizes job fairs and other recruitment events.
5- Identifies recruitment agencies in coordination with the HRM:
- Identifies recruitment agencies for the supply of CVs.
- Maintains agreements.
- Follows up on payments.
6- Develops recruitment tools and staff selection system in coordination with HRM:
- Develops and innovates new selection system customized to Spinneys filters.
- Produces Recruitment forms customized to Spinneys standards
- Develops Assessment tools.
7- Ensures job specifications are maintained:
- Prepares job specifications.
- Keeps the job specifications file updated at all times.
- Formulates job specifications to maintain Spinneys recruitment standards.
8- Prepares recruitment KPI:
- Ensures all vacancies are filled within the acceptable time frame.
- Prepares TO analysis reports.
9- Communicates Recruitment policies to HR Representatives:
- Communicates recruitment policies and procedures to all Personnel Supervisors in the stores.
- Audits the implementation of the recruitment procedures.
10- Conducts Exit interviews:
- Conducts exit interview to analyze and adjust the recruitment filters

Skills

- Minimum 3 years experience in Recruitment, preferably in retail
- BA degree in Business
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluency in English and Arabic
