Procurement Engineer

The company is in a position to undertake landscaping projects of various complexity, scale, and nature, ranging from Golf Courses, Public Parks and Football Pitches, to Gardens for Resorts and Hotels, Palaces, Residential Complexes, and Commercial Centres.

The key responsibilities of the Procurement Engineer include:

* Identification of all requirements during estimation.

* Negotiate the best credit terms in order to obtain the maximum benefits to the Company.

* Quantify the elements after awarding the contract.

* Compare materials in the tender to obtain the maximum possible value for the company.

* Issuance and processing of requisitions.

* Receiving competitive price quotations.

* Prepare schedule of comparison / issuance of purchase orders.

* Tracking and expediting of shipment and traffic.

* Handle delivery and inspection of items.

* Storage and handling on site, prior to use and any surplus/abortive materials after the completion of the project.

* Client acceptance/rejection, warranties and other related follow up matters.

* Ensure all potential suppliers are provided with consistent information upon which the quotations are given to insure equal opportunity to meet the desired requirements.

* Deal honestly with suppliers with high level of integrity.

* Keep accurate records to justify the process and any other related decisions made in this regard.

* Obtain minimum competitive quotations.

* Material received against allowed BOQ quantities sheet updation.

Skills

* Excellent working exposure on ISO standardization on Quality Management System (QMS).

* University educated preferably with a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil).

* Certification in ISO standardization & QMS procurements in the contracting industry. Prefer landscape industry experience.

* Minimum of 10 years experience in procurement, preferably 5 years within in the landscaping industry.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Strong knowledge of English and Hindi. Arabic desirable.
