Business Development Manager - Middle East

The Business Development Manager will play a key role in the success of the Company’s growth strategy, which is focused on expanding its energy consulting services and IT solutions into the Middle East. Candidate will be responsible for increasing the company’s revenues by developing new business relationships and capturing business opportunities within the Middle East.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing a business development strategy for the Middle East to include expansion into the utilities sector;
• Developing and executing sales plans in coordination with the Service Line and Country managers;
• Establishing local relationships and partnerships to deliver end-to-end solutions for our customers;
• Identifying partnering opportunities and potential acquisition targets;
• Interacting with senior management regarding measures required to deliver the strategy and accomplishments achieved towards long-range objectives;
• Negotiating contracts and closing deals;
• Analyzing, monitoring, and advising organization on Middle East market intelligence and actions required to create a competitive advantage;
• Assisting in establishing operations in new locations based on expanding business requirements;
• Attending and participating at key Energy conferences in the Middle East; and
• Developing account plans for Oil and Gas and Utility companies.

Skills

Qualifications include:

• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas (specifically E&P) industry, to include Utilities;
• Minimum of 12+ years of experience directly related to business development and sales;
• Knowledge of the overall region, industry sector trends, and complexities;
• Experience and significant knowledge of Digital Oilfield concepts, and solid working knowledge of the Petrotechnical and E&P domain;
• Proven track record in selling and growing assignments in the $15M and above;
• Ability to travel and manage multiple initiatives in several countries;
• Commercial-minded with proven experience in the technical and commercial evaluation of investment opportunities in the oil and gas and utilities markets;
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Technology, or Energy related field;
• Working knowledge of Middle East culture; and
• Ability to speak fluent Arabic is preferable.
