Business Development Executive
STS Group

The Role :

Based out of our Jordan, KSA or UAE offices, this role will be responsible for the business development & sales of a family of ePayment products and services initially into the Levant and GCC markets, gradually expanding into the rest of the MEA countries; qualifying new prospects, managing existing customer relationships, contributing to sales plans and executing sales/marketing strategy, drafting end-user proposals and closing sales. This role may require extensive travel.

Main Role:

To manage and be responsible for the business development activities (during pre-sales, sales and post-sales stages) in regards to the given solution(s) in the assigned territory.


Responsibilities:

-Responsible for execution of and contribution to the assigned Solution(s) sales plan, within the defined territory,
-Meet Solution(s) quarterly revenue targets for all territory.
-Coordinates with Territory Account Manager(s) to include solutions sales plan into the over all territory sales plan.
-Contribute to developing/ enhancing offering based on the given Solution(s) to be marketed in the assigned Territory.
-Co-Planning demand/need creation and market awareness creation and penetration along with SBU Manager and in coordination of Territory Account Manager(s).
-Planning market, opportunity and competitive research and analysis.
-Participate in coordinating Solution(s) marketing and PR plans, tradeshow participation planning.
-Develop the sales opportunity for Solution(s) at early stages before RFP/RFI/RFQ issuing.
-Provide the customers with the over all architecture for the solution highlighting the products.
-Create new business opportunities at new markets with the assigned Solution(s).
-Contribute to building/ maintaining vendor partnerships, in coordination with SBU Manager, for added value Solution(s).
-Communicate qualified and developed sales opportunities to SBU Manager and Territory Account Manager(s).
-Coordinate with Territory Account Manager(s) to submit solution as promoted to customer, and make necessary follow-ups to qualify deals from pre-sales, to post sales stages.
-Conduct needed demonstrations, POC, demos, etc to the customer in coordination with SBU Manager and Territory Account Manager(s).
-Contribute to, and implement an on-going Solution(s) sales plan to achieve sales targets and penetrate the Territory/Country.
-Conduct related business/ technical preparations (demos, POC, Solution Architecture, technical write-ups, solution description, etc) in coordination with SBU Manager and Product(s) management.
-Submit monthly Solutions(s) sales forecasts showing a 90 day rolling expectation of orders that will be received as well as identification of any major or key strategic opportunities, sales inhibitors, competitive factors (within the Territory/Country).
-Monitor Solution(s) Sales order pipeline and growth targets (within the Territory/Country)
-Highlight opportunities that position the company for significant future business in large accounts or specific markets.
-Understand the dependencies other parts of the company have on the SBU team and ensure these expectations are met.
-Seek opportunities to contribute to broad organizational goals and the development of others.
-Ensure that project implementation plans (delivery dates, work descriptions, etc) are comprehensive and properly communicated and agreed internally and externally based on the feedback during the sales cycle with the customer.
-Ensure that the products / services sold will meet documented customer criteria and are within agreed company capabilities.
-Ensure timely response to customer requests

Skills

-Must be fluent in Arabic and English languages
-You will have an entrepreneurial style, drive and a sense of urgency, coupled with the ability to work well with others as part of a solution team.
-You will be capable of applying strong problem-solving and influencing skills both internally and with our clients.

Education

Computer Science/Engineering, MIS, or CIS (MBA is a plus).
