Application Infrastructure Consultant
Moody International

Providing operational support for the UNIX(IBM AIX/Red Hat Linux) computing environment by:
oHardware installation;
oBackup and recovery administration;
oTroubleshooting system & application issues;
OS and applications software installation and upgrades;
oMonitoring database performance & tuning;
oBasic Administration of the HACMP environment on the AIX;

Providing Operational Support for the SAN Environment by:
oDesigning, configuring,operating and maintaining the storage arrays, switches and hosts that are attached to the SAN;

Provide technical recommendations for information systems operating on the UNIX (IBM AIX/Red Hat Linux) environments by:
oImplementing modifications to increase system capacity;
oAnalyzing the results of performance and systems management software and recommending changes to improve processing and utilization;

Skills

•Min 5 years experience in Database & UNIX administration.
•Certification in AIX Administration is preferred.

Education

A bachelor degree preferred in Computer Science/Computer engineering
