Planning Engineer
Voltas Ltd.

Overall responsiblility for planning and monitoring of the MEP/HVAC Projects.

To prepare the resource histogram, cashflow details using P3 for the projects and allocate the available resources accordingly to the projects.

To analyse the projects using schedule performance index (SPI) & cost performance index (CPI).

To identify the critical path & risks of the projects and advise the project team accordingly.

Advise QS on preparation of monthly invoice and verify the same.

To review & revise the schedule according to the progress of the project and advise the project team accordingly.

To prepare the cost report based on the progress

Schedules for various service contractors (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Audio Visual etc) involved in the project using P3 & Microsoft Project coordinating with Architectural & Civil Works.

Review of Master Construction Schedule on Weekly basis

Preparation of rollback schedules (for the delayed services)

Preparation of Cost report.

Preparation of weekly & monthly progress reports.

Preparation of Variation orders & rate analysis

Checking lead contractor bills for payments.

Skills

Graduate Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical) with 5-10 yrs experience with Primavera.

Education
