QUANTITY SURVEYOR - MEP/ HVAC
Voltas Ltd.

To obtain inputs from Construction Manager and prepare applications for payments, ensure timely submissions, coordinate/ follow up with Contractor’s Commercial Manager / Quantity Surveyor for early certification and release of payment.

To ensure that all contractual/ commercial issues are timely addressed and incorporated in the monthly payment applications and variation claims.

Preparation of cost plans, cost estimates and cash flow analysis.

To monitor, maintain man hour records and cost estimate/ preparation of claims for any additional works instructed on day work rates basis.

To prepare variation claims with all detailed working/ back ups etc. in coordination with respective Dy. Project Director / Project Managers / Construction Manager and follow up for early settlement.

To monitor all changes/ variations to the project scope, timely initiate requests for Engineer’s instruction and maintain records/ variation register.

Effectively implement the company’s cost procedures for project cost/ budget reports and forecast.

To involve in developing process and procedures relating to Quantity Surveying/Estimation.

To monitor, compile data and prepare claim towards any prolongation /deviation of project completion due to reasons attributed to the Main Contractor / Consultant / Project Manager / Employer.

To review Voltas appointed subcontractor’s payment application, in conjunction with Project Managers and Construction Manager and ensure timely issuance of necessary certificates.

Skills

Relevant experience in MEP/ HVAC project execution company.

Excellent MS Office skills.
Techno legal bent of mind.
Knowledge of FIDIC conditions

Education

B.E (Mec/Elec) and P.G Diploma from NICMAR OR Degree in Quantity survey from a recognised University
