The position

Overall Objectives:
To coordinate the activities of internal accountants, to develop the operations carried out by the finance team, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.

Task Assigned:
- Perform general accounting functions, including operation of the general ledger system, journal entries, and month-end close work,
- Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues, expenses, and any significant fluctuations in Ledger accounts,
- Responsible for account reconciliations that include multi currency inter-company accounts, accounts asset and liability accounts to ensure accuracy of account balances.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close,
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare monthly financial management reports and yearly financial statements,
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures,
- Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures,
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities,
- Assist with the supervision, training, review and development of the accounting team,
- Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

Profile

- Bachelor Degree in Accounting with 5+ years experience, a large part of it in international and multi-company environment, min. 1-2 years exp. of accounting team management
- Proficient computer skills
