Role Summary/Purpose


Essential Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Contract Performance Manager, the Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the following:Work closely with the Contracts Performance Manager (CPM) to provide highest level of Technical service.
* Strengthen relationship with customer personnel, including management, operations & maintenance. * Analysis, diagnostic and repair of the systems and sub-systems of the plant in the control & instrumentation area.
* Organize, schedule and execute the preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance in the control & instrumentation area, following plant EHS procedures.
* Organize and support the scheduled maintenance in the control & instrumentation area.Carrying out the supervision of the jobs in plant following plant EHS procedures.
* Participate and actively support all EHS activities.Ongoing development and implementation of maintenance procedures.Creating technical reports for the jobs carried out in the mechanical area.Assessment of the team under supervision.
* During the warranty period, identify and report all problems.

Qualifications/Requirements
* Engineering degree (B.Sc) or equivalent.
* A minimum of ten years proof of mechanic maintenance experience, preferably at a CCGT plant.Responsible, organized and disciplined person.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent supervision and organizational skills.
* Dynamic person with good capacity of problem solving.Speak French & Arabic.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications


Desired Characteristics
* Technical knowledge of CCGT technology.
* English (read and conversation).
* Green Belt certified (GE candidates only).
