Doha Marketing Services Company W.L.L. (DOMASCO), an overseas joint venture of the reputable UAE-based Al Futtaim Group, has been operating business in Qatar for 15 years and has sole distribution rights for Honda, Volvo cars and trucks, reputed brands of watches and electronics such as Raymond Weil, Casio and Sanyo as well as Yanmar marine engines in the country. The Role :
We are currently looking to recruit experienced Used Car Sales Executive to work within our car sales showroom.The primary focus of the role will be to achieve and exceed allocated unit sales target for used cars. Ensure smooth operation for vehicle registration and transfer of ownership at Traffic Department and to represent the Company to receive new cars at Customs/sea port.The main duties within the role include the following:
Sales Volume:
Achieve and maintain the Company prescribed sales standards for Used cars in order to improve image and enhance profits for the department Used Car Reconditioning:
Ensure cars are reconditioned as directed and displayed to attract buyers in order to have quick stock turnover Prospecting System:
Maintain a prospecting system to create a customer database and achieve Company's business objectives Updating of Market Information:
To collect market prices for Used cars to arrive at accurate appraisals and result in more sales of new cars. Collect New car market Registration figures to provide statistics to management New Car Registration & Used Car Transfer of Ownership:
Ensure customers' cars are registered/transferred systematically to meet Traffic Dept rules, accounting as sales support function Ensure company fleet cars are tax paid up to date to be used by company staff Customs clearance:
Inspect and receive New cars in behalf of the Company at Customs and arrange inland transport to warehouse. Damaged cars and pilferages to be reported to port authorities and Company admin staff to claim losses from insurance

The Person

:The ideal candidate will have the following experience:* Essential to have at least 2 years experience in a similar sales position in the service or automotive industry* Able to deal effectively, openly and positively* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written* Good command of the English language and Arabic is preferable* Excellent organizational skills and ability to show initiative* Well-groomed and presentable* Self-motivated, reliable and confident* Positive attitude and ability to work well with others* Competent to analyse market situation and identify customer needs* Ability to deal effectively with pressure and stress* Possess organization and time management skills with demonstrated ability to follow sales processQualifications* Degree education preferred but not essential* Good knowledge of MS Office products
