Role Summary/Purpose
Program Summary
� A 24-month program consisting of three challenging assignments
� Formal classroom training in advanced human resource techniques, finance and business concepts
� Extensive contact with peers and senior level business leaders from around the world

The two-year HRLP is designed to provide practical, hands-on, human resources experience and training in business concepts and HR techniques. This ensures that we develop strong HR professionals who are also outstanding business leaders.
During your two years on program, you will have three, eight-month rotational work assignments. Your first and third rotation will be in HR and your second will be a cross-functional rotation in a different area of business such as finance, quality, sales/marketing or e-business. You will also participate in a series of training seminars where you will be exposed to leading edge HR concepts and practices.
The HRLP will prepare you for a leadership role in the human dimension of GE business.

Qualifications/Requirements
� A minimum of 1 year & a maximum of 3 years relevant work experience.� Demonstrated leadership, communication and problem solving skills.� Superior academic achievement.� Masters degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or other HR related disciplines/Masters in Business Administration (MBA).� Geographic flexibility and mobility.� Fluent English plus fluency in at least one other European language.� Relevant European Work Permit/Work Authorisation if required.
