Project Associate - Marketing & PR
S. S. Lootah
Job Purpose:
To provide professional level PR and Strategic Marketing skills, to ensure clear public opinion forming and build crystal clear reputation for Lootah Applied Academy, To carryout press releases; campaigns, conferences internally and externally using all types of media, and allies with cross units to support business development; and clear communication to senior management and external bodies and organizations including partners and investors.
Principal Responsibilities:
Essential functions of the job include:
- Aware of regional flavor in Marketing and PR trends for fields of Advanced technologies, laboratories, Media & Broadcasting, and vocational business
- Research and analysis followed by continuous evaluation of an organization or campaign strategy
- Initiating and planning PR campaigns: defining goals; analyzing problems and opportunities; liaising with management and clients (internal and external);
- Writing and editing press releases, in-house newsletters, speeches, articles and annual reports;
- Maintaining and updating information on an organization’s website;
- Using corporate advertising to maintain an organization’s identity, name and reputation; consistent, strong and continuous
- Preparing and supervising the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programs.
- Answering enquiries from individuals, journalists and other organizations;
- Speaking in public at presentations, press conferences, radio and TV interviews, and meetings;
- Developing and maintaining good working relations with the media, including local and national newspapers, magazines, radio and television;
- Organizing special events, such as press conferences, exhibitions, open days, tours, competitions and sponsorship;
- Fostering community relations through events such as open days and through involvement in community initiatives.

- Up-to-date with industry/ technology trends in the field of Marketing / PR
- Process oriented, analytical and hands on in field of PR/ Marketing

- Effectively utilizes the internal resources and ensures clear progress
- Capability of utilizing computer aided software to smoothen the PR/ Marketing process.
Skills
PR/ Marketing Capacity
minimum of 3-4 years experience in a PR/ Marketing preferable in regional area
Bachelor / Master Business or Marketing
An with in depth knowledge of regional PR / Marketing Agencies
Good understanding of policies and procedures relevant to the Unit.
High level of communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
Computer proficiency
