Channel Director
Panacea One Limited
Panacea One are recruiting for one of their clients, a leading distributer of Network Security products with offices throughout the Middle East region.
They have an immediate requirement for a Channel Director to join their team in Dubai on a permanent basis.
The Channel Director is responsible for channel sales across the region. Manages all channel sales personnel within the region, including responsibility for staffing, training and day-to-day management.
• Minimum 8 years of successful quota-driven sales management experience in the technology industry, preferably in high price-point hardware and software for network infrastructure applications
• Successful and quantifiable track record of software, hardware and technology sales to major organizations and of closing both tactical and enterprise transactions
• Directs and manage sales activities in region through channel partnerships
• Capable in Recruiting, Developing and & Monitoring the SI’s/Resellers performance and target achievement in coordination with Product Managers
• Develop and cultivate relationships with key channel partners, enterprise customers and other industry leaders, monitoring all metrics and assuring the team meets both sales and key selling objectives
• Responsible for significant key partner relationship management and development. Facilitate executive-level relationships; facilitating communication on strategic and tactical issues and maintaining continuity
• Develop relationships and leverage channel. Including account planning and lead generation with channel partners; building relationships and developing opportunities with channel partners by effectively communicating and demonstrating security solutions. This also involves training channel partners on the solutions and developing and delivering sales presentations and close sales in a professional and effective manner
• Develop sales strategies and forecasts sales volumes for the region and takes responsibility for sales goals/quotas, budgets, and account management within the region
• Assume full responsibility for accurate sales forecasting by demonstrating in depth knowledge of sales cycles from initial contact through the procurement process
• Manages account executives; conducts performance evaluations, delegates work, provides on-the-job training, gives guidance to staff, conducts performance improvement plans, interviews and selects candidates for open positions
Skills
• Strong leadership skills - able to motivate and guide sales team members to achieve and exceed stretch quota goals while building a cohesive team
• Responsible for identifying and qualifying long-term and short-term business opportunities and pro-actively identifying and addressing competitive threats
• Assume a leadership role in coordinating account strategy and tactics for sales support team (inside sales, systems engineering, sales management)
• Willingness and ability to travel is required.
