Sales Supervisor - UAE

Alcon is currently seeking a Sales Supervisor for our Vision Care Division to be based in UAE reporting to the Vision Care Business Unit Manager for the Middle East. We are looking for a highly motivated and professional team player with minimum 5-7 years sales experience out of which 1-2 years in leadership/supervisory role.
Major Purpose of the Role:
Lead and direct a team of Medical Sales Representatives in order to achieve sales and promotion objectives for the Vision Care Business (contact lenses and lens care products) to optical shops, doctors, hospitals, dealers and key accounts.
Also provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability, growth, market share and contact lens penetration in line with company vision and values.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
1.Lead, direct and motivate the sales team in order to achieve the overall country/territory sales objectives, with full accountability for sales, distribution, key accounts and market share in the country/territory.
2. Responsible for delivering country/territory sales target according to set budget.
3.Supervise sales team to ensure achievement of sales, expenses and marketing program targets.
4.Support and follow up the implementation of professional and consumer marketing programmes.
5.Establish strong relationships with local distributor’s team
6.Establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base and contribute to the development of training and educational programs for clients and Eye Care Practitioners.
7.Drive and develop key account strategies and plans.
8.Work effectively in coordination with other related departments, analyze and interpret sales results in order to undertake appropriate actions that develop and maximize business results.
9.Deliver the company strategy at the point of sales in optical retail as well as ophthalmologists and pharmacies through active implementation of sales and marketing programs.
10.Provide accurate 12 month Rolling Forecast and report competitive market information about competitors’ activities and customers’ needs.
11.Create effective territory structure, evaluate it periodically and update it if necessary.
12. Actively use internal CRM System, follow up and evaluate sales-force daily activities.
Skills
•University degree - Optical/Optometrist/Pharmacy/Healthcare background with sales experience.
•Sales or commercial background with good business understanding.
• Arabic and English Written and Spoken fluency are a must.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Must be analytical, detailed, organized and systematic
• Excellent social skills and Business understanding
• Result oriented with strong drive to make it happen
• Open minded with a willingness to challenge the status quo
• Delivering on commitment
• Self motivated with strong team spirit
•IT Skills: PowerPoint, E-mail and Excel
Experience/Professional requirement:
• Multinational or local pharmaceutical company
• At least 5-7 year(s) of working experience in the sales field is required for this position with 1- 2 years in a leadership supervisory role.
• Solid sales experience with proven track record of delivering company target.
• Previous leadership/supervisory/coaching role.
• Must be analytical, detailed, organized and systematic.
