Electrical Designers - Qatar

The Electrical Designer belongs to a team in charge of the development of basic and detailed engineering design of electrical distribution systems for the oil and gas industry.
Our projects consist of the development of basic design, detailed installation design, single-line diagram conception, consumer list and load flow calculation, equipment sizing and specification, wiring diagrams, trouble shooting diagrams. These activities will be conducted during the construction of 2 Data centers.

The Electrical Designer is in charge of :
- Single line diagram detailed design,
- Consumer list follow up
- Wiring diagrams and detailed design execution,
- Equipment detail design (LV swithboards, MCC's, transformers, UPS and DC supplies, lighting equipment, etc.),
- Cable schedule follow up
- Earthing system details
- Trouble shooting drawings
- BOQ follow-up.

He reports to the Electrical Senior Engineer.

Skills

- 5 to 10 years of experience in the area of electrical design (High Voltage, Low Voltage, earthing, lighting) in industrial projects or oil & gas industry.
- Experience in large projects, preferably in Data Centers
- Working knowledge in the computerized tools for engineering development (AutoCad, Intools, ...)
- Familiar with international standards
- Experience with major electrical equipment
- Fluent in English
