Project Manager / Coordinator
Abu Dhabi Systems & Information Centre
1) Management of the organization-owned projects, including:
-Review and understanding project definitions and objectives
-Review and understanding of project contracts and deliverables
-Development and alignment of project plans with established project target models
-Development of project organizational chart and identifications of team skills and positions
-Identification and staffing of project team members
-Support to the procurement of project resources covering hardware and software needs
-Development and execution of project quality plan
-Management of project activities across the project life cycle phases of initiation, planning, execution and control, and project closure
-Identification and assessment of project changes, risks, issues, and development of plans to resolve/ mitigate them
-Coordination and liaison with PMO team on escalation/ resolution of project issues and risks
-Support for the adoption of PMO project standards
-Control and management of project scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards
-Review and acceptance of project deliverables
-Development of project briefings to senior management
-Capture of lessons learned
2) Management oversight to supported projects, including:
-Review and understanding of project definition and objectives
-Oversight to project management activities across the project lifecycle phases of initiation, planning, execution and control, and project closure
-Coordination and liaison with PMO team on escalation/ resolution of project issues and risks
-Support for the adoption of PMO project standards
-Assurance of project delivery alignment with overall project objectives
-Development of project briefings to senior management
-Review of project deliverables
-Assisting in the execution of project quality reviews
-Capture of lessons learned
Skills
Experience/Domain:
- Experience in office organization
- Experience in process organization as well as process and time management
- Basic experience in lean management and six-sigma tools
- Excellent project management expertise
- Fluent and literate in Arabic and good English language skills (spoken and written)
- Good Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
- Excellent organizing ability and communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with other entities
- Excellent leadership and team player skills
Education
Business/Management and Active Project Management Certificate (e. g. PMP or PRINCE II)
