Job Description

-The main purpose of the Accountant is to record financial transactions, perform reconciliations and prepare accounting reports. Responsible for recording cash or check receipts and maintaining accounting file information
-Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
-Correctly matches and verifies invoice amounts to source documents.
-Accurately calculates and verifies amounts of payments.
-Issues checks within established time frames
-Participates in the compilation of data and prepares standard accounting reports
-Receives, controls, and records cash or check receipts.
-Responds to requests for information and solve clerical problems.
-Reviews petty cash documentation prior to submitting them to appropriate parties for approval.
-Prepares journal entries and submits them for approval.

Skills

-Fluent in English and Arabic
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Equivalent.
-At least two years experience in the related field.
-Computer Literate.
-Knowledge of Accounting Software. Visual Dolphin is a plus
