    Job Description

    The Application Administrator & Analyst is responsible for managing and supporting the company’s business applications. He/she analyses requirements, designs and tests implemented modules and maintains the applications in synchronization with business needs.
    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Managing business applications in order to meet business needs & ensure accurate information flow
    o Protect and secure the users access at the level of the applications
    o Maintain ERP/applications functionality to ensure accurate information flow
    o Create/Modify applications structure and parameters as per requests’ needs
    o Implement and test new modules and functionalities according to local and corporate requirements
    o Integrate new modules to existing applications
    o Analyze the need for new modules by discussing issues with business owners
    o Transfer business owners’ needs into IT know-how for various applications
    o Help IT applications partners understand the brewery business and translate it into IT solutions
    o Perform data uploads and needed exports from multiple databases and assist users with final data validation
    • Providing liaison and helpdesk support to users having access to the business software applications in order to solve problems and process requests
    o Serve as the liaison between IT and Corporate/Suppliers’ support teams to ensure adherence to Heineken key controls
    o Manage, maintain, fix errors and secure the business software applications
    o Provide technical support for users’ problems and ticket resolutions
    o Monitor performance & security administration of the applications
    o Provide first-level support to Navision and other applications: manage help desk requests, complete users’ requests in a timely manner and escalate issues as needed
    • Generating reports in order to translate business needs into IT solutions
    o Analyze and determine users’ requirements
    o Train end users on new reports and applications when required
    o Create and generate ad hoc reports raised from business owners’ needs, upper management requests and other business functions
    o Participate in the selection of new business applications
    o Documentation: responsible of documenting all solutions provided during troubleshooting or deployment documentation
    o Revising and commenting IT procedures and policies related to IT/business applications

    Skills

    - Education level : BS in Computer Science, Business Computing, MIS or related field
    - Experience : 4 - 6 years in managing an ERP system; MS Dynamics NAV
    strongly recommended
    - Languages : Good command of English, French is a plus
    - Computer skills : Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS):
    - Mastering SQL Server 2003/2008; Oracle is a plus
    - Business Intelligence tools like Oracle Discoverer, Crystal
    Reports, etc.
    - Extensive Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications,
    especially Microsoft Excel’s advanced formulas and macros.
    - Competencies : Demonstrating analytical thinking and ability to translate business needs into IT solutions, acting as a self-motivated team player with good verbal and written communication skills, taking a proactive approach and prioritizing the urgency of tasks, having a sense of initiative and searching constantly for new solutions
