Job Description

ROLE DESCRIPTION
Mission:
Organizes, co-ordinates and controls the correct performance of the construction and assembly work, even of high complexity, assisting the area superintendent in the management for correct performance of the project and in the definition of any disputes, ensuring full compliance with safely and quality standards and procedures.


Tasks:
1) Carries out the work in the planned times and costs
2) Applies the final, procedures approved by the client
3) Ensures observance of the project specifications
4) Ensures that safety and quality standards are respected
5) Prepares and co-ordinates the detailed programmes for the correct management of the works of one`s specific responsibility
6) Helps solving technical and management problems encountered in the area of responsibility
7) In accordance with the established operating programmes, arranges for the correct and cost-effective performance of mechanical construction and assembly work, coordinating and controlling the activities performed by the dependent teams
8) Manages the technical and administrative documentation of expendable and assembly material.
9) Manages direct and sub-contracted work
10) Manages human and technical resources, indicating any needs and surplus in good time
11) Gives all information regarding the progress of the work indicating the cause of deviations between the programme and the work carried out and proposes solutions and/or request instructions to overcome these problems
12) Ensures that production quality and quantity standards are observed
13) Ensures that safety standards are observed and guarantee the quality of the work.
14) Assists with the hand-over of completed works.
a. Measure the works carried out with the Works Director and sub-contractors’ representatives
b. Supply the elements needed to draw up the accounts
c. Assist the site mob/demob
d. Ensure the correct and cost-effective performance of work regarding the assembly of small hydrocarbon plants.

Skills

Technical degree (mechanical discipline preferred)
- Mechanical background with multidisciplinary experiences in EPC projects
- Skilled in coordinating and negotiating
- Basic knowledge in commissioning
- Good coordination skills
- Experienced in direct hiring
- Minimum 10 years experienced in Oil & Gas plants construction
- Minimum 5 years experienced in Oil & Gas as Area Coordinator
- Age < 55

Education

Technical degree (mechanical discipline preferred)
