    Areas of responsibility

    Overall
    Support the management of Distributor's Sales and Trade Marketing function to develop and grow the business in the relevant aspects of Distribution, Sales, Trade-Marketing and Key Account Management

    Sales
    - Develop national and regional Distribution, Sales, - and Key Account targets (short, mid and long term)
    - Manage Performance of Distributor and conduct regular Business Review Meetings
    - Observe and analyze the elements to reach the targets (activities of competitors, market research results, market data, etc...)
    - Implement regular and standardized analysis and reporting of actual business-performance (customer sales, Distributors sales, product-sales, distribution, and merchandising) versus agreed targets
    - Define and implement corrective measures in case of deviations versus targets
    - Analyze the Trade structure, define and supervise distribution targets.
    - Define trade channel-specific assortments (“Must stock list”) and follow-up implementation of listing plans
    - Preparation of country specific roll-out plans for launch of new products. (Channel relevance, quantities, rotation and timing)
    - Define short-and long term-term sales-, profit and working capital - objectives and ensure their achievement
    - Develop the comprehension of channel-specific customer needs and habits

    Trade Marketing
    - Initiate and analyze customer-wise promotional plans in cooperation with distributor and its Trade-Marketing function
    - Follow-up of concepts for channel and customer specific advertising and promotion
    - Implement customer individual projects
    - Initiate and support implementation of category-management or merchandising projects
    - Observe, plan and control channel-specific marketing budgets
    - Secure an optimal category-, consumer - and market understanding
    - Develop and implement sales folder as well as trade advertising for national product initiatives

    Key Account Management
    - Manage together with distributor performance, regular business reviews and negotiations with national and selected regional/international key accounts in all aspects (listings, rebate structure, outlet-distribution, sales, merchandising, promotions and logistics)
    - Monitor and benchmark trade rebates and net pricing

    Skills

    - 3-5 years of experience in the GCC in Trade Marketing, Sales or Marketing in FMCG - preferably non-food - and with a successful history in a multi-national company
    - Good knowledge of GCC trade-structure and sales-force management
    - Flexible and able to work with a distributor and direct Key Accounts (Carrefour, EMKE, Spinney’s, etc.) as well as willing to travel within the region
    - Excellent in English language, written and spoken
    - Excellent communication skills
    - Excellent knowledge of the marketing mix
    - Good analytic and strategic thinking
    - Good management and organization ability
    - Excellent team and cooperation capability (good contact to co-workers and local organizations)
    - Handling of several projects at the same time / Time Management
    - Good Knowledge of the relevant MS Windows - software (Excel, Word, PPT)
