    Area Sales Manager - Iraq

    Job Description

    Job Purpose:
    The primary role is to obtain business growth consistent as per our business objectives by achieving the targets as established by CBOB Head Office in Dubai.

    Responsible for all commercial aspects of customer accounts within their territory, the Sales Manager is required to deliver strong support to the customer with the aim of growing the company’s volume, market share and margins.

    Principal Responsibilities:
    - Establish and implement key account plans for customers with the cooperation of technical, production and marketing support staff by directing the required resources to the account.
    - Visit customers regularly to ensure their needs are being met. Resolve outstanding commercial and technical issues, develop CBOB’s value proposition, and build strong professional working relationships to gain customer loyalty.
    - Arrange for periodic technical and commercial updates to the customer on industry developments with the aim of ensuring better fill performance and cost savings.
    - Establish monthly sales forecasts on customer sleeve orders and ensure these are accurate.
    - Ensure company’s financial risks are minimized by ensuring customers payment are consistently on time and take the necessary actions required (with the support of the Finance department) to reduce the risks.

    Education:
    Essential: post graduate
    Desired: commercial curriculum

    Experience:
    Essential: minimum 5 to 7 years in the Sales Department of a Multinational Organisation
    Desired: experience in the packaging industry

    Computer Knowledge:
    Basic: MS Office
    Advance: NA

    Languages required to be known:
    Essential: English
    Desired: Arabic, German, French

    Legally required skills:
    International Driving License

    Other Traits:
    Leadership skills and ability to work with people at all levels
    Timeliness and full delivery of commitments made
    Good understanding of the customer’s businesses
    Marketing skills, analytical skills, Negotiation skills,
    Financial, understanding of the customer’s industry and drivers for growth
