    Job Description

    Nobu Hospitality is the award-winning owner and operator of some of the world's most prestigious restaurants, and recently opened its first hotel in Las Vegas. Set at the heart of the Saudi Arabian capital, Nobu will redefine luxury in the city. Scheduled opening is in the spring of 2014.

    Position overview
    The candidate is responsible to develop and maintain accounts within the corporate and government market sectors locally and extending to Jeddah and other business hubs. This individual will also be responsible for the IP3 (internet-third party) and consortia distribution channels.

    Scope of Position
    The ADS will lead by example while demonstrating the company's commitment to standard practices to both the sales process and Delphi use. The ADS will attract clients to the hotel and conduct professional and courteous tours. They will be organised and self motivated to generate appointments with clients in advance. They will assist and support business strategies as directed by the DOSM. They will ensure the DOSM is fully aware of key business booked, cancelled or periods of opportunity.

    Organizational Structure
    The Assistant Director of Sales will report directly to the DOSM.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    " Together with the DOSM implement the agreed pricing structure and strategy for all catering market segments.
    " Direct all sales activities for the Sales Team and ensure they meet the goals of the marketing plan .
    " Analyse and review market changes with the DOSM and implement programmes with the catering sales team to meet these changes.
    " Respond to all consortia RFP's
    " Maintain excellent relationship with all on-line distributors
    " Maintain close relationships with his/her key decision makers in their given market.
    " Organize and accompany familiarization site inspections trips with clients.
    " Regularly entertain clients in the hotel.
    " Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel in their given market through direct sales solicitation, telephone and written communication.
    " Supervise the Sales Team in control of space allocations, F&B spend and contract details.
    " Produce, review and send business winning proposals to prospect Inquires.
    " Produce and review client contracts with 100% accuracy ensuring negative exposure for the hotel and client confidence. Ensuring 100% adherence to hotel's contractual policies and procedures including but not limited to cancellation, attrition & payment.
    " Ensure Delphi is utilized to the fullest extent in relation to the Nobu client database, corporate contracts, BEO's, etc.
    " Maintain accurate database of all information for relative contacts (organisers, third parties, influencers & end users).
    " Provide feedback on market information to the DOSM on changing conditions, trends and competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation, telephone, reading material and interaction with competitive hotel staff.
    " Provide daily updates to the DOSM on major business results and achievements.
    " Propose and initiate when approved, new services and products for our guests.
    " Perform a variety of other duties as assigned and responsibilities as requested by the DOSM.
    " Be responsible when entertaining on-property during site visits and familiarization trips. Seek guidance from DOSM prior to expenditure.
    " Respond in a timely manner to all booking inquiries and client requests.

    Requirements
    " A minimum of 5 years' experience in a hospitality environment.
    " A minimum of 2 years experience in a luxury market.
    " A minimum of 3 years in a hospitality / hotel sales position
    " Must hold a Degree, Diploma or equivalent.

    * Fluent in English and Arabic languagesds
    " Must have been in a position supervising and leading others.
