Carpenter
Job Summary:
Responsible for working from blueprints and drawings to repair and construct items and surfaces as needed. This includes drywall, other surfaces, furniture, railings, etc. Other responsibilities include miscellaneous repairs, installations, and replacement of filters, lighting lamps, and other preventative maintenance items requested.

Job Duties:



· Repairs high-grade articles of furniture such as cabinets, chairs, store fixtures, and office equipment.



· Replaces damaged veneer.


· Performs the carpentry necessary to cut and shape parts of furniture, railings, moldings, etc.



· Operate woodworking machines such as band saw, jigsaw, and other pieces of machinery as necessary.



· Repairs/replaces windows, doors, ceiling and floor tile, filters, and lighting lamps.
Inspects completed jobs.

Skills

Other Job Functions:
1. Performs related work as necessary.
Experience:

- 3 years previous carpentry experience required.
- Organizational and follow-up skills. Customer oriented.
- Excellent telephone etiquette.
