Job Description

 Develop projects civil and architectural procurement plans based on project documents (budget, timeline, specifications, bill of quantity, drawings) and address any variations in these plans during the progress of the project
 Develop civil and architectural suppliers and service providers’ preferred lists, and regularly update database
 Maintain working relationship with civil and architectural suppliers and service providers
 Study and review project civil and architectural specifications
 Conduct technical and financial analysis (comparison analysis) of civil and architectural suppliers and service providers
 Obtain support from Technical Office in Technical evaluation, if required

 Develop comparison sheet and rank civil and architectural suppliers according to Technical and Financial score
 Prepare list of potential civil and architectural suppliers with recommendations
 Undertake price negotiations with selected civil and architectural supplier
 Develop contingency plans related to key civil and architectural material and suppliers
 Support Tendering & Estimation department with latest civil and architectural updated material costs
 Continuously monitor civil and architectural suppliers and service providers’ performance and recommend corrective actions to address low suppliers and service providers performance
 Extract lessons learned from process cycle
 Support bidding

Skills

 Bachelor of Civil or Architectural Engineering
 10 years of experience in purchasing or procurement of civil and architectural construction material for a contractor
 Experience in managing supplier relationships
 Experience in the Middle East is a must, and in KSA is a plus
 Experience in tendering is a plus
 Strong negotiation skills
 Advanced computer skills especially in Microsoft Office applications
 Strong analytical skills
 Ability to work under tight deadlines
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills
 Fluent in Arabic and English, written and oral Key Performance
