Job Description

• Pre-measure allocated trades and sections at contract start up
• Work with the clients, PQS and team liaison to agree monthly measures, final measures and variation costing
• Complete site inspections on a regular basis, reviewing progress and possible variations
• Communicate with the Operations Team on site on a daily basis, understanding the work programme and progress on site
• Re-measure works as required
• Prepare monthly progress claims
• Measure and value new rates and variations
• Send packages for pricing and evaluation before placement of order
• Generate documentation for payments, contra charges and final accounts
• Track invoices and payment certificates for projects on hand

Skills

• QS degree or equivalent
• More than 3 years as an Assistant QS in a construction field
