Our client, a well known media company are currently recruiting Commercial Finance Manager The Role You will provide financial decision making support to the organization. An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious self-driven individual to join the team.This role will be responsible for the annual budgeting, ongoing forecasting processes and will support the company's long range planning as well as assist business units in financial analysis and model building. The role will develop the forecasting process to improve its accuracy and flexibility and to enable the timely production of both short-term, annual and long-range forecasts. The role will ensure that the budgeting and forecasting processes run as efficiently and effectively as possible, with minimum disruption to the business.The successful candidate will also be commercially minded, having proven successes in assisting in the decision-making by Senior Management. The candidate would also have a proven track record of building models for pricing and packaging, business acquisition, NPV analysis and business proposal evaluations.The successful candidate will build effective and credible relationships with Senior Management and be sought for their advice and expertise on all commercial ventures. The candidate will also be able to clearly explain the risks and opportunities of these ventures to Senior Management and how the decision will affect the strategic direction of the company. In addition they will be comfortable dealing with external advisors and must have the appetite to drive this role forward.Key Responsibilities Manage the annual budget process, to include a budgeted Profit and Loss Account, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, including planning and delivery to strict timetable. Develop the forecasting process to ensure timely and accurate Profit and Loss Account projections can be produced for periods up to one year Provide analysis on main drivers of the business, including variance analysis and suggest way-forward for improvement profitability Review, scope and implement new sources and models for reporting, forecasting and planning purposes and to identify and deliver improvements to the way financial information is collected and reported. Support the company's long range planning model. Develop business models for possible business ventures, NPV, break-even Work with Management to improve and develop the information and analysis provided by Commercial Finance to the business. Identify inefficient procedures in the Finance function and propose and implement improvements. Preparation of material for key presentations as appropriate. Support the business by involvement in ad-hoc projects as and when required.

Person Profile Qualifications Required ACA CIMA ACCA CPA CMA or equivalent 3 to 4 years post qualified Planning, budgeting and modeling experience Experience in a Media environment highly desirable Key Skills Out of the box thinker with ability to think independently Excellent business modeling and PowerPoint skills Strong commercial financial exposure Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to understand the detail whilst maintaining the bigger picture view Able to handle pressure within a changing and fast-paced commercial environment Excellent prioritization skills, ability to work across different teams while managing self and others to deliver to strict deadlines Committed, rigorous self starter Strong track record of success
