Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities included but not limited to:

 Operation of various types of cranes.
 Checking adequacy of the load for the different cranes as per its loading chart to ensure safe operation.
 Participate in rigging operations and ascertain that rigging equipment is in safe working condition.
 Site survey for suitability for crane mobilization and set up.
 Performing other related duties such as changing a wheel, assisting a fitter, assisting in loading or unloading operations and the like.
 Daily maintenance of the crane including completion of daily check list
 Inform Supervisor of any faults with crane
 Discuss lift(s) with client as and when required and inform if lift is not possible or unsafe
 Adherence to manufactures operating instructions and best practices
 Assist the management in the fulfillment of its obligations, statutory or otherwise, concerning prevention of personal injuries
 Adherence to all JTC and client specific QHSE policies
 Adherence to all JTC ISO and Operating Procedures as defined

Accountability and Authority (QHSE)
 Responsible for safe work practices
 Responsible for obtaining permits and licenses
 Responsible for participating in accident investigations or suggesting improvements
 Responsible for good housekeeping within their area of operations
 Responsible for communicating unsafe acts and conditions
 Responsible for carrying out work as designated by their Managers / Supervisors.
 Responsible for complying applicable legal / traffic regulations

The job location is in Iraq and Saudi Arabia
