CUMMINS ELECTRICIAN / MECHANIC

Job Description

Cummins is a very successful part of our Heavy Equipment Division and we are now seeking qualified electricians and mechanics to our service operation. You will be independently conducting diagnosis and repairs. As you will be dealing directly with our customers, you possess the needed communication and sales skills. We run our operation according to Cummins international standards, and you are used to working in a structured and professional environment. As customer service is the heart of our operation, you will be working both in the field and in our workshop. At Jaidah, we invest continually in our staff and you will be given opportunities to develop your skills both through in-house training as well as training provided by Cummins.

Skills

• Diesel Mechanic/Electrician or similar Motor Trade Certification / Qualification- Must qualify through Assessment Test
• Knowledge and understanding of engine theory and operation
• 3-4 years experience with Cummins or Caterpillar Engine
• Experience in synchronization system
• Qualified in in-site is a great advantage
• Qualification certificates from Cummins is an advantage
• Possesses all the troubleshooting, diagnosing and repair capabilities or a highly-skilled genset technician involving diesel engine, generator, engine governor, generator and engine control gear and electrical power switching mechanisms and their control.
